Authorisation, Activation Server Error

I am using ADE 3.0 and after resetting my password I am able to logon to the website using my adobe ID and password. Unfortunately, I get the following error when logging onto adobe digital editions using the same logon credentials to authorise my adobe digital editions: Authentication Server error, code: E_AUTH_NOT_READY

digital editions encountered an error on the activation server

Please help
