authorisation computer.

I'am trying to download books from the Library too my Kobo e-reader. I have the lattest version of ADE on the computer, then I have connected the e-reader to the computer and I'am authorising the computer, the program will start and then it stops. I get the notification: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL) and EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Can anybody help me with this please?
