authorising adobe digital editions makes my books vanish from the window

Hi Folks,

when I authorise Adobe digital Editions, all my existing books disapear from the program window (but they are not deleted). Furthermore, the program crashes down when I go on to interact with it (for example clicking on my e-Reader).

This problem exists since I bought a new Computer at the beginning of this year and installed Adobe digital Editions on it.

I have:

Adobe digital Editions Version 4.0.3.117585

Tolino as e-reader

a Windows 7 system

the old computer used to have a windows xp System

what can I do, what might be the problem?
