Authorization my Kobo Clara HD

I authorized my Adobe Digital Editions and my Kobo Clara without any issues. I was able to successfully copy over DRM files, but when I open them on my Kobo, it says "your eReader is not authorized to open this book", despite it saying in my account settings on my Kobo saying that my adobe account is authorised on my Kobo. I'm running Adobe on Mac 10.15, and I've tried everything, from different forums on here but nothing works.
