Authorization of digital editions

I downloaded the new Adobe Digital Editions. When I tried to authorize it was done without any information from me, just said it had be authorized successfully. Unfortunately my regular ID and PW do not work and I cannot download any books until I have the ID and PW that were chosen for me. Can anyone help?

    Which error message get you when you used the old adobe ID?
