Authorization problem after updating

I just updated my ADE from 2.0 to 4.5. It says I'm already authorized, but when I attempt to download books I purchased, it tells me to check authorization. I have tried control/shift/D to deauthorize it but no window opens. I run Windows 7.

    Adding an update: One vendor it works perfectly fine with. The vendor who told me I needed to update the reader still does not work. When I download, it tells me to check authorization.
