Authorization Vendor ID not working

I have an ebook that was purchased.  I recieved my link, I saved it to my library.  When I open and try to authorize with my Adobe ID and password I keep getting an error message that reads:  The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again.

My ID and password are correct, I can logon to Adobe on my PC.  I get no help from Adobe support and was just told to post my question here.
