Authorize my Computer

I have an Adobe ID and Password and have just downloaded Adobe Digital Editions.  When I seek to authorise my compute and log in with my ID & Password i get the following message.  Activation Server error code E_AUTH_NOT_READY.  What does this mean and how can i solve my authorization issue?
