authorizing content

I have received some journal articles from the British Library, tried to open them in Digital Editions, all it does is come up with a box that says 'authorizing content' which just sits there doing nothing. I can then only click on close or minimize.
Desperate need of these PDF's please help!!!

    I'm assuming this is ADE 1.5..

    1. Turn on error logging (http://www.adobe.com/go/kb403740)
    2. Try to open the books
    3. Read the error log, post back what it says (or open a support case...)
