Blank pages

Hi,

I downloaded an e-book (.epub) in ibooks and transferred it to my computer (Windows). In ibooks, it works just fine and I can read the book without problems. But when opening it with Adobe Digital Editions, the book only consists of blank pages. Only the table of contents is available. How can I fix this issue?

I have an Adobe ID, so the computer is authorized.

Some other books (.epub) that I also downloaded via ibooks can be read via Adobe Digital Editions on the computer without problems so the issue doesn't seem to be a general problem but only concerns a few books.
