Blurry Font

The font of the books I am reading are coming out blurry, no matter the size.  The fonts of the app are fine, it is just the book fonts that are a problem.  This is happening on multiple books all downloaded from my library in EPUB format.  I am using Windows 8.1.  Has anyone else had this problem or know what to do?

I have the same problem with Windows 10 and the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions (4.5.1). Take a look at the attached screenshot; round letters like "c" and "d" look especially awful.

What are the chances to get this fixed?
