book has bee retuned

I checked out a book and downloaded it as usual to my computer then put it on the my nook.  I can pull it from the nook vial my computer but when I try to open it on the nook it says the book has been returned /  Loan not on record.  I have deleted it several times and redownloaded from the library site several times.  Any hints?

    Do you can open the eBook in Digital Edition without a problem? If yes has you the same error with a other file?

    I could read it in ADE but not on my nook.  I did actually return the book and checked out another and had no problems with it!  We may never know what happened with that particular title......
