Books on Purchased instead of Borrowed shelf

Currently, the eBooks I'm borrowing keep being sorted into the "Purchased" bookshelf instead of the "Borrowed" bookshelf and because of that the right click return book optioned is grayed out. Any advice as to what might be causing it and how to fix it?
