Borrowed Books Not on Bookshelf

Greetings,

I am using Windows 10 and a Lenovo Yoga Ultrabook. I have downloaded ADE 4.5 and downloaded a book through my university library. I now have 13 days to read it and I would like to see it in my bookshelf so that I can export my annotations... but it does not appear in my bookshelf.  How can I view the book on my bookshelf so I can export annotations? Notably, when I click file and hover over "copy to bookshelf" the only options is New Bookshelf which is greyed out (not selectable).
