Can anyone help me transfer e-books from Digital Editions to New Nook Samsung Tab 4 10.1?

I recently upgraded my nook to the Samsung Tab 4 10.1 nook and have not been able to copy books from Digital Editions to the nook for reading (I did this with the old reader that was also a tablet).  My PC (running Windows 8.1) sees the tablet as a nook in the devices and drives folders but Digital Editions does not show the new nook so cannot transfer the e-books I borrow from the library.  I have tried upgrading both the PC, tablet & digital editions, Still having the same problem.  Please help.
