Can I control printing with ADE?

I have a book in ADE format. It has full printing permission.

Whatever printer settings I use, the document prints on both sides, flips the paper on the side I don't want (so the backside is upside down) and does not print the page numbers.

Is there any way of controlling these outcomes?

That is exceedingly lame.  I have a 221 page document that on screen shows page numbers but there is no way I can find to have those print out so it's essentially very labor intensive to cite references in this document.  Adobe needs to fix that - you should be able to "print current page" it doesn't let me; print page numbers - it doesn't let me; etc.  Extermely lame.
