Can I edit file information in ADE

I have l lot of books from different places in ADE and want to know if there is any way I can edit the books property information so that the information displayed in ADE (particularly list view) provided is more standardised e.g. author's name is always the same way - some files have surname first, some have only initials for given names, others have full given name).  Also is there any way to add information about the series a book is from and what number the book is within that series?
