Can not open file after deauthorizing and authorizing computer

I bought a drm protected textbook and authorized my computer. I could then open the file normally. I then wanted to try to connect it to an account so i could open it on other devices so i deauthorized my computer and logged in with my account to authorize. 

Then it wouldn't let me open that file saying it needs to be authorized, alright then, I deauthorized my account and authorized the computer like i did the first time around.

I go back to open the file and same error, it says it's authorized to a vendor id, and it won't let me deselect the Adobe ID option in the dropdown menu.

I'm very new to this so any help would be appreciated.
