I just downloaded digital editions and can't figure out how to use it to download books from my local library. Can anyone please guide me? Thanks so much.

Your local library 'should' have an instruction sheet that's specific to

their system and to your ereader. There are different methods, depending on

the library software. Most of the time, you'll need to use your computer,

rather than linking directly to your ereader, but there are exceptions.

Generically: you establish a logon (usually your library card number) and

password with the library, so you can browse their catalog and find books

that are available. Once you do that, then you will see a button on the

screen that will relate to downloading or checking out the book. If you

click on that button, the next screen you see will give you the option to

'Open' or 'Save' the book. If you choose 'Save', then ADE will store the

book in its library. If you choose 'Open', ADE will open in 'Reading'

mode. If you do this, be sure to start reading the book, so it will show up

in your library when you close it.

Once you get this far, you can transfer the ebook to your ereader.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, Frustrated. My mistake, I guess, was staying on

ADE's page and trying to find a way to link to my library. I download

to my iPhone so I can read anyplace I happen to find myself. I

appreciate you taking the time to help. Spiritrider
