Can't access Digital Editions

I got a new laptop. I loaded digital editions on the new laptop and copied the books over and I can't access any of them. I authorized the laptop using my adobe user ID and it says the 'vendor ID's don't match'. I only have one adobe account so this makes no sense. I no longer have access to the old laptop so...how do I get access to all of the digital editions I previously purchased?

    I uninstalled version 4.5 ( and version 4.5.11 with the same results) and ADE 3.0 https://help.overdrive.com/en-us/0118.html and it worked again.

    I think i have a similar problem where I could not access it now. Was working before but when I start the app I do see it is it blinking to the far left but I cannot access it. In the windows task manager, i do see that the app is running. I reinstalled the latest version 4.5.11 but still the same problem.

    Am running windows 10 and i did see a mandatory patch to android and ios https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions/bd-p/digital-editions?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all .

    hope they fix it for windows users too.
