Can't authorize a new digital editions

I just downloaded digital editions to my new computer and it won't let me authorize it because I've previously authorized it on another computer. The other computer self destructed and won't even turn on so I can de-authorize that, does anyone know what to do. How to transfer your account to a new computer?

    The problem i has also before. It solved the problem when remove the Authorize and authorize again. When you used a second adobe id you can not read the old eBooks.

    I made a second account under a different email and used that to activate.

    Seems like there should be an easier method, but that worked.
