Can't authorize my computer because Adobe ID has been used to authorize another device

Can't authorize my computer because it says my Adobe ID has been used to authorize another computer or device. If I did it was on a previous computer that's gone now. How do I authorize with out creating a new Adobe ID? I only have the one email address to link to.
