Can't authorize my PC

Hi,

I have a Adobe account and Adobe ID. When using Adobe Digital Edition you are supposed to authorize your PC , after giving my Adobe ID and PW and clicking 'Authorize' I get a errormess - 'Digital Edition could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet'.

    How does this forum work? There seems to be only questions no answers! Frustrating to buy a e-book being able to view it ...

    The reason for not being able to authentize ADE is that ADE doesn't support Windows 8!!!! http://www.adobe.com/in/products/digital-editions/tech-specs.html

    If you are using Windows 7 64-bit you need to change it to 32-bit !!!
