Can't Authorize New Computer

Hello,

I had a computer with Adobe digital editions on it.  The computer crashed and I am unable to de-authorize it. I downloaded ADE on my computer and authorized it with a different email address because I couldn't use the other email I used on the crashed computer.  Now I have discovered I am unable to read some of the books I previously had under the other ID.  I also just discovered this site.  Is there a way I put my ADE account under my previous ID.  I'm guessing I would need to de-authorize the current ID?  If I deauthorize the current ID will that do anything to my current content?  There has been no new content added to my new ID.  It is all the same content from my old ID.  I hope all of this makes sense.  Thank you!
