Can't authorize phone

I'm trying to authorize the adobe editions app on my phone but I keep getting this error message: E_STREAM_ERROR: CURL returned 60 (3C)

 

Does anybody know what this means or how to fix it?

    Had a similar error on the android 9 tablet - LineageOS 16.0. After installation, I forgot to check the automatic date synchronization with the internet. After checking the corresponding box in tablet settings, the error went away. The SSL certificate needs the correct date to work.
