Can't download Adobe Digital Editions 3.0

Hello!  I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else - there should be a simple solution.  I have been able to download books for years.  Today the library basically pushed me to the upgrade and now it won't open and I can't download books. I hit on the link to download 3.0 and it takes me back and forth, back and forth, to no link for 3.0.  Can you please fix this, or send me a link?  This is quite frustrating.  I have read so many forums and there doesn't seem to be a current solution.
