Can't download my books :(

Hi. I’m having trouble downloading books using Adobe Digital Editions. The errors are either “E_ADEPT_ERROR” or “E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER” even though I'm the only user.

 

It happens for books I have previously downloaded, and new ones I have never been able to download before. These are from either Google Play Books or Kobo. Even Adobe's Sample eBooks are supposedly already fulfilled by another user.

 

I used the same email to buy books, to create my Adobe account, and to authorize Adobe Digital Editions (v.4.5.11.187606) on my Mac (Catalina v.10.15.7), which is the only computer I’ve ever used to download books. I even tried using ADE on iPhone, no luck. I tried this a few times: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/error-e-adept-internal-download.html. No luck.

 

I’ve been in touch with Adobe and they said there is no dedicated support for ADE. So they just sent me links to the forums and suggested stuff I already tried. 😞

 

I’m currently waiting for Google to reply to me. But I suspect this is an Adobe issue because I can’t download books from anywhere, even Adobe itself.

 

Can you anyone please help me download my books?

    I am having the same problem also ...again. My Samsung tablet is only 2 years old and I had previously downloaded my entire  library from Kobo.  But when I purchased new books a few months ago, I could not open them due to a license error. So I uninstalled and reinstalled ADE and then I was able to download my books.  I  am able to read the books in my library, but I read somewhere that unintsalling and reinstalling ADE could cause more problems,.  Now I am unable to download books I purchased a few weeks ago for the same license error.  I have unauthorized and reauthorized ADE but it still won't work.   I am out of pocket $30 for books I can't access.  What should I do now?
