Can't get Adobe Digital Editions to recognize my new Nook GloLight

Question

I have a downloaded library book on the reader but I cannot get it to transfer.  Have followed the instructions by having the reader connected to the computer before starting Adobe Digital Editions but the Nook does not show up under "Devices".  In fact "Devices" does not show up in the upper left corner as per the photo shown in the instructions.

Before you try anything check if your reader supported of Digital Edition with the following List:

If is on the list and still not work check if the device the Reader recognized itself. Sometimes it’s a

problem with the Device and Reader itself and not Digital Edition.
