Can't get past this error; Activation Server error - code: E_AUTH_NOT_READY - Digital Editions encountered an error on the activation server.

How do I register my computer so that I can transfer borrowed library books to my Cobe Glo e-reader.  I get this error; Activation Server error - code:  E_AUTH_NOT_READY - Digital Editions encountered an error on the activation server.
