Can't open downloaded book in Kobo

I have borrowed a book from public library, downloaded to my Digital Edition, then copied to my Kobo. However, can't open the book with error stating the document is not authorized for use with my Adobe ID, I have not have any problem until now. This just appeared out of the blue. I am at a loss.
