Can't see all of illustrations in ACSM file

Even though Adobe digital editions arranges the font so I can read all the books text, the pages are cut so that half the illustration on a page may be cut off.  There seems to be no way to enlarge, decrease the size, or move around a page so that I can see the whole illustration.  Any help?
