Cannot access any document on any computer

I have installed the new digital edition 4.5.2 and since then have not been able to access any of my books on adobe on either of the two computers where i have downloaded it.Each computer has a different windows version so my conclusion is there is something wrong with ADE.

I have reinstalled. No difference.

Right now, I can see my 3 books and can click on them. But other than the table of contents and the firsts page, I cannot read anything in the document itself. When I try to type a page # it doesn't do anything.

I have a huge exam in 3 weeks and am desperate to get access to these documents. I feel trapped. Please help!

The computer I am on now uses Windows 7.

Any advice is appreciated.
