Cannot authorize computer for Adobe Digital Editions

Hello! I have Adobe Digital Editions just installed. I have a link to the just bought book. On opening the link I've got a meesage to authorize my computer using Adobe ID. I've entered Adobe ID and password (both correct) and press Authorize button then got the message

I'm sure that the internet connection is available ( I can write this message).

Please help to resolve this trouble.

I could resolve the issue installing ADE on my home PC with Windows 10.

It seems that the reason was in proxy that blocked connection to the activation server.

So, how did you solve that?

following for the answer. my authorization box comes up blank... no place to enter ID etc.
