cannot connect to activation server error when I tried to re-authorize my computer

I had problem copying library books to my kobo reader. It was OK back in Dec.

So I tried to erase authorization and re-authorize my computer to try as a fresh start.

I am getting a "cannot connect to activation server error". I have no problem connecting to the internet on all other sites that I am accessing.

I don't know if this will help, but I was having trouble today activating another Adobe product as well. Turns out the problem was other software on my computer - a program called "Net Nanny" that filters content and supposedly keeps malware and other stuff out. Maybe you have that or something similar, like a McAfee or Norton? Temporarily disabling the software fixed my problem. Good luck!

i have the same problem trying to authorize my computer. my internet connection is working fine. Do you have a solution yet?
