cannot copy to device from ADE 3

I have recently started to use ADE 3 and have upgraded to Win 10. Firstly I could not activate the books but having found a way to do so (without using Adobe ID) now I can't copy to device for 'protected' books.

I never had this problem using the old software or OS.

How can I do this?

    I have the exact same problem with AdobeDE4 and Windows 10; I have been grappling with it for a week now. There is no solution until Adobe gets off their backside and helps us rather than putting us into a Forum where no-one has an answer. There seems to be an incompatibility with the new Windows.
