Cannot install Adobe Reader 11 on Windows 7

I tried to update Adobe Reader.  It failed for some reason.  Now it keeps trying to complete the last installation but keeps failing.

i have removed the old  version of Adobe Reader from the PC to try to remiove whatever conflict there was.  No use.  Still got the problem. 

How can I get out of this loop?
