Cannot open an ebook

Hi there,

I bought another ebook from Kobo books, and it is a .acsm file. I got it into Adobe Digital Editions but I cannot get ADE to show my device. I have a Sony E Reader and I have been using my ereader with ADE for over 4 years... now it wont work. Why not? Many thanks
