Cannot open any books

Got a new computer, installed ADE, it is authorized - but I cannot open any books - not even the "getting startet" file. All I get is either nothing - a white page or the message that the book is allready in the library. What to do??

    Closed Digital Edition.
    Rename the Folder My Digital Edition in My Digital Edition.old under My Documents.
    Open Digital Edition.
    Then Download again.
