Cannot read checked out book

Hi

I check out a book at my library it downloads and then it has an error trying to read the book. The PDF is downloaded but it will not open in Adobe Digital editions, I have returned the book and tried checking it out again with the same error.  I have deleted the cached file in My Digital Editions with no success
