Cannot scroll through pages of the textbook I just purchased

I purchased an e-textbook (as recommended by my prof) and there is absolutely no way for me to scroll from page to page (in other words, I cannot turn the page).  It's going to be pretty hard for me to read the textbook if I cannot actually access it.  Have tried what I've read in other forums however I still cannot turn the pages.  

It absolutely blows my mind that this could be an issue that is unresolved.  Literally unbelieveable.
