Cannot transfer book to my Nook. Get this error: E_IO_WRITE - Failed to write destination file.

I have done such transfers before without problems. I am using a PC, onto which I download files then transfer them to my Nook. I tried deleting and re-downloading, but it did not work.The book is downloaded from a public library, and I have now re-downloaded twice. Need help.
