Canot open file

I am using windows 10 22h2, nvda 2023.2 and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 version 4.5.11.0. I have been trying to read a file. If I open the file, it shows activation failed. Now, how can I open it? If I go to help > authorise computer, it shows that this option is disabled. If I go to erase authorisation, it shows my account. If I type my password and click erase, it shows an error. It asks me to wait for a while. Then, it shows incorrect passwords. However, I am sure that I am typing the correct password. Now, how can I open the file?
