"CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book

I got a virus on my computer and I lost everything.  When I reinstalled Digital Editions and tried to load a book on to my ereader it comes up with the error message "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book"  please help...anyone.

Have the exact same problem... have tried uninstalling. have tried changing password... tried help desk at local library... very frustrating indeed!!! anyone know the answer?

I have the same problem, spent 1 hour on phone to be told that the LA public library download is not covered by phone support. Someone out there please HELP
