Change email for Digital Editions

I used Digital Editions a long time ago. And I used an old email that I want to change, but I forgot the password.

How can I change the email address if I have forgotten my password?

I can log into the email if this is required for a verification but I can't solve it with the correct password.

we found a solution when using Apple...

quit Adobe Digital Editions.

Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.

If you are using 10.7, see Access hidden library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later.

Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.
