Question

Changed password, can't open books

Hi,

I use Reader as a library for books I buy (kobo) and borrow at the library, to download on my Sony ereader. But since I started buying ebooks, I've changed my email adress as well as my password to Adobe. Now I can't access older books. How do I handle this? I don't want to loose any of the books ("too many downloads"/"already been downloaded") and I want all my books to be registrered to my updated email adress and password.

The books are epub and with ADE.

I have changed to new email/password on my Adobe ID. But not on the ADE app on my computer, as I'm afraid of loosing the books bought with older email/password.

I hope I have made myself clear enough for you to help me with an answer.

Thanks!

We and Adobe has no access to the eBook itself. If you has used before a other adobe id the eBooks linked with this id. You can ask the reseller for new download which can linked new with the new adobe id or try this: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/joining-multiple-user-ids-digital.html
