Changes to Books - highlighting and title detail

I enjoy downloading old books from Internet Archive as an e-pub. Sometimes I come across old books that are a series. Is it possible in Adobe Digital Editions to edit the title so I know which version of the book I'm looking at? Also, how do I activate the highlight option?
