Changing authorization

Help!  I have downloaded the latest version of ADE, not remembering that I had an older version on my laptop.  Install went fine.  The issue is with the authorization.  ADE has an old email address listed for authorization, one that no longer exists.  How do I change this?  I have tried erasing the authorization, but either it won't work or I can't remember the email address.  Suggestions?
