Changing Authorization on Mac AND getting ADE to recognize ipad reader app

I have just upgraded to an ipad 2, and lost some of my ebooks on my reader apps.  Two were ePub files in my ADE acct.  Now I can't get ADE to recognize any of the reader apps on the new ipad2, and I suspect, after reading some of the discussions, that the problem may lay with the incorrect email addy the ADE is authorized to.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE several times, but at no point did it allow or ask for an email authorization, and will not allow me to change the email registration (which is old and not one I use any longer).  Any suggestions?

First, the problem is that ADE does not support iPads. Next, you can get

Adobe to help you reset your email address without the hassle of installing

    or reinstalling the software.
