just want to be sure that ADE is or is not compatible with kindle paperwhite. Am seeing conflicting things

Kindle ony operates with Amazon's proprietry system, designed to lock people into buying books from Amazon.

thanks for clarifying. I actually just figured out how to transfer my library books from amazon help and it worked. They sure do make it complicated.
