computer authorization not working

All of a sudden I am unable to download books from my library and transfer them to my Nook GlowLight via Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.3.  Get message CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED No permission to copy book.  Another forum suggested I deauthorize my computer then reauthorize it.  Now getting message that Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server.  Make sure you are connected to internet.  I AM!  What do I do now?
